When operating a cross-border e-commerce business, understanding tax policies is essential for managing your finances and avoiding unnecessary risks. This article provides a comprehensive overview of sales tax, value-added tax (VAT), and customs duties to help you stay compliant.

Tax Information for DropSure Orders

On the DropSure order page, the price you see (i.e., product cost + shipping fee) is the total amount you’ll need to pay. We do not charge any additional hidden fees or platform service fees.

Please note:
As the merchant, you are fully responsible for the final sales transaction. This means any taxes related to the sale—such as sales tax or VAT—should be declared and paid by you, since you are collecting the full payment from the customer.
All invoices and billing documents can be downloaded from the “Billing” section of your account dashboard for accounting or tax filing purposes.

About Sales Tax

Sales tax policies vary significantly by country and region. We strongly recommend consulting with a professional tax advisor to ensure your tax handling complies with the laws of your operating regions.

While the DropSure team is always happy to assist, please understand that we are not qualified to offer formal tax advice. To avoid legal or financial risk, it’s best to rely on certified accountants or tax professionals.

About VAT (Value-Added Tax)

DropSure does not handle or remit VAT on your behalf under any circumstances. This means:

  • If your country or region requires merchants to collect VAT, you must handle the declaration and remittance directly with your local tax authorities.

  • From the customer’s perspective, orders are delivered directly to their door without requiring additional VAT payments or being held for customs clearance, as our supply chain is optimized to minimize such delays or complications.

About Customs Duties & Import Taxes

DropSure does not manage customs duties. The product prices shown on the platform do not include any customs duties or import taxes, as these depend on the regulations of the destination country.

  • If the supplier ships domestically, some may include applicable taxes in their pricing.

  • For international orders, customers may be charged customs or import fees upon delivery.

  • Therefore, we recommend clearly informing customers in your product descriptions or checkout pages that customs fees may apply in certain countries or regions and that they are responsible for such costs.

In the world of eCommerce and dropshipping, few platforms provide as much publicly visible market data as AliExpress. Every day, millions of buyers interact with products, leave feedback, generate sales history, and create behavioral signals that sellers can analyze. For many beginners, product research starts and ends with one number: order volume. A listing showing 10,000 orders feels safe. A product with only 50 orders feels risky. The assumption seems logical — more orders must mean a better product. Yet experienced sellers know that raw order numbers rarely tell the full story. Behind every order count lies a deeper set of signals about demand stability, competition intensity, lifecycle timing, and profit potential. Sellers who learn to interpret these signals correctly gain a significant advantage when selecting products. This article explores three core metrics derived from AliExpress data that reveal what order volume actually means — and how to identify real opportunities hidden behind the numbers. Why Order Volume Alone Is Misleading Order volume is attractive because it simplifies decision-making. It appears objective and easy to compare. However, it suffers from several limitations: Orders accumulate over time rather than reflecting current demand. Viral products inflate numbers temporarily. Mature products may show large totals despite declining interest. High sales often attract intense competition. A product with 20,000 historical orders may actually be slowing down, while a product with 300 recent orders could be rapidly emerging. Understanding context is more important than reading totals. The Data Advantage of AliExpress Unlike many wholesale platforms, AliExpress exposes multiple layers of buyer interaction data: Total orders Reviews and ratings Store history Pricing trends Shipping activity Variation performance When analyzed together, these signals reveal market dynamics normally […]

TikTok Shop has changed the way we shop by combining social media with online shopping. Users can find products through viral videos, shop from live streams, or visit brand pages—all within the app. But after making a purchase, the next step is delivery. For both sellers and buyers, knowing how TikTok Shop delivery times work is important for a smooth transaction. In this guide, we’ll explain what affects delivery times, how sellers can improve their shipping process, and how delivery times impact the customer experience. What is TikTok Shipping? TikTok Shipping refers to the entire delivery process from when a customer places an order to when they receive their product on TikTok Shop. As TikTok quickly grows into a leading global e-commerce platform, TikTok Shipping has been created to provide a seamless shopping experience for both sellers and buyers. Customers can browse products, shop via live streams, and complete orders, payments, and deliveries all within the TikTok app. Once a seller lists their products on TikTok Shop and a customer places an order, TikTok Shipping automatically begins. It handles every step, from order processing and packaging to shipping the product to the customer. Let’s be real—if you’ve done dropshipping, you’ve probably felt that soul-crushing moment when you burn through hundreds of dollars in ads, only to see barely a few “Add to Cart” actions in your dashboard. I’ve been there. I had a decent product, a solid landing page, and a pretty generous ad budget. But my ROI was stuck at 0.8—losing money every single day. Then I changed my approach. Instead of “selling a product,” I started telling stories using UGC-style ad copy and videos. The result? My ROI doubled—jumping from 0.8 to 1.7, and eventually peaking at 2.3. In this article, I’m going to break down exactly how I did it. No fluff, no theory—just real tactics that worked. What Was Wrong With My Previous Ads?  My old ads were a textbook example of “product-centric advertising”:Right off the bat — polished product photos, followed by three lines of copy about the features: looks great, portable, special price. Result?Lots of clicks, but barely any conversions. Why?Because me saying my product is awesome doesn’t hit as hard as a user saying: “Wow, I’ve been using this for a week and my sleep actually improved.” That kind of authenticity is what truly sells.  What Is UGC Advertising, and Why Does It Work So Well? UGC (User-Generated Content) refers to content created by real users—things like unboxing videos, everyday product reviews, or casual “selfie-style” testimonials. Why is UGC so effective? 1. It reduces buying anxietyNo matter how beautiful your models are or how polished your set is in a traditional ad, most regular people look at it and think: “Well, that’s not me.”But UGC feels different. The person in the video might be wearing pajamas, […]
